Good Morning Friends!  I have a quick post for you this morning as I am busy getting ready for work.  I was so busy last Sunday getting some Christmas cards made up for the upcoming Stamp a Stack at The Cutting Garden that I didn’t get my advanced posting done!  I have another pretty Easel card to share with you, with some more lovely hand made flowers….

This card folds nice and flat so that it can be easily popped into an envelope and mailed.  The paper I used is from my Recollections Garden Floral paper pad.

I hope everyone has a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Hello, everyone!  I love Memory Box dies and when Ellen Hutson had a sale on them a little bit ago, I decided that I needed to add a few more to my stash.  For this card, I combined Snowflake Ornament, Classic Ornament, Crisp Bows and the snowflake border.  I added Stickles to the ornament and bow to give it some sparkle and layered it on white card stock.

Here’s the inside of the card, the sentiment is from Rejoice. Very CAS, but that’s the way I like them. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

GET YOUR STAMP ON!

A while ago, I hosted a Control Freaks swap and created a card using the Evergreen set.  When I saw this week’s sketch challenge at Create with Connie & Mary, I decided there were a few elements from that card that would work perfectly with this sketch!  I will show you both cards.  I love my CCMC223 version!

Here’s our sketch:

Diagonal lines are sometimes hard to work with, but I had some scraps around here of a beautiful DSP and it was perfect for this card:

My Mojo is on vacation these days…. I can’t seem to jump start it either?  Oh well *shrug* I’m sure it will sort it self out eventually.  I have a ton of half finished projects in front of me and I have been fixated on trying to finish them and I can’t seem to get anywhere with them so I tipped them all in the garbage and cleaned off my work surface.  *sigh of relief*  That feels better! LOL!!!  Here’s a cute little set of cards I made playing around with the Stampin’ Up! Elegant Lines embossing folder that Kim from The Cutting Garden was so kind to lend to me….

These were super easy to put together and quick as well!  I love to make quick and easy cards these days… I have been making sets lately for some reason.

Thanks so much for visiting!

Is It Fall yet? Here we are October 7th and I think the weather is FINALLY starting to change here in Los Angeles. There’s something so wrong about wearing shorts in October, but when the iPhone weather app tells me it’s 94 degrees outside, it doesn’t leave me with many options. Thankfully, things seem to be cooling off which means I can  start wearing my Fall fashions.

Pulling out the Fall gear means storing away the Summer swag. Although I’m happy for the change, there are a few things I’m sad to see go. One of them being my neon rhinestone wrap bracelet. Do you guys remember that DIY project? (If not click here) Definitely one of my favorite Summer DIY projects, but I think neon is more of a Summer trend. I wanted to find a way to rework this project for Fall. So using the same technique

Happy Wednesday all!!!  (Yes Yes… this is yet another advance post) LOL!!!  I am actually posting this on Sunday night while I am relaxing and sipping some decaf coffee in my craft room with a movie on in the back ground.  This is how I spend most of my Sunday nights *happy sigh*

I want to send a big shout out to Pat and Leslie for gifting me with the beautiful Reason to Smile stamp set from Stampin’ Up! 😀 There is so many fun projects you can make with this lovely set!  Here’s my first kick at the can…

This card has quite the unique fold… there is loads of room to write in it or if you would like you could add a pocket for a gift card or pictures.  I wasn’t sure I liked it at first but it is really growing on me.  Here’s a look…
